He is also Full Professor of General Pathology at the University of Milan, President of SEMM \u2013 the European School of Molecular Medicine, and Vice President of ACC \u2013 Alleanza Contro il Cancro, a network of 28 IRCCS hospitals promoted and coordinated by the Italian Ministry of Health, committed to the development of multicenter clinical trials.<\/p>\n
Holding a degree in Medicine, a specialization in Internal Medicine, and a PhD in Molecular Biology, he has devoted his career to research fields with a significant impact on current approaches to the treatment of cancer patients, including the identification and functional characterization of PML-RAR and mutant NPM.<\/p>\n
